Description: The engine comes from the Heineken Museum’s Historic Collection in Amsterdam. It is equipped with one cylinder and a flywheel. It was used in Brünnle Brewery in Lahr, Germany until 1947 to operate the whole brewery including brewing vessels, stirrers, refrigerating machines and systems of transportation. Currently it starts with the use of an electric engine.
